Full Day Trip Puttaparthy

Pu??aparti is a town in Anantapur district of the State of Andhra Pradesh, India. The original name of Puttaparthi was Gollapalli The town is located on the banks of Chitravathi River which is a tributary of Pennar River, and is surrounded by undulating hills. While this small town may not have much to offer in terms of natural splendour and beauty, the place is a religious destination popularly known by the world at large as the birthplace of Sri Sri Sathya Sai Baba, and for the ashram which he founded, known as Prasanthi Nilayam.
Meet your guide at hotel lobby in Chennai at 8:30 am, and proceed first to visit the Government Museum Complex Art and bronze Gallery. After this, you will take a drive through historic parts of Chennai, including George Town, and see Chennai Egmore railway station.
Next, you will visit the expansive and unique Rippon's Building; a beautiful combination of Gothic, Ionic and Corinthian, Neoclassical-styled architecture. The Ripon Building is an all-white structure and is located near the Chennai Central railway station.
Around 12:30 pm, you will have a break for lunch, and are free to select your own cuisine and restaurant (own expense). After lunch, around 1 pm, you will proceed to explore the Bazaar/Flower Markets, visit St.Mary's Church, and Kapaleeshwar Temple.
Next you will visit Marina Beach- an 'urban beach' sitting right against the city, along the Bay of Bengal, part of the Indian Ocean.The beach runs 8 miles from Fort St. George in the North to Besant Nagar in the South, making it the longest natural urban beach in the country and the world's second-longest natural urban beach.
At the end of your journey around 5:30 pm, you will sit back and relax on the drive back to your hotel in Chennai or Chennai International Airport
