Nestled in the Aravali hills, the 18th century Devi Garh
palace in the village of Delwara, forms one of the three main passes
into the valley of Udaipur. Devi Garh, is ready for visitors after years
of restoration and reb uilding. The Fort palace was conceived as a place
where the past meets the future. This all suite luxury hotel comprising
of 39 suites with an emphasis on design and detail, using local marbles
and semi-precious stones. The contemporary design showcased within this
spectacular heritage property, complemented by personalised and intimate
service, creates a new image of India for the 21st century.
Dining
The culinary arts are an integral element of the
experience at Devi Garh. We aim to provide authentic home cooked
flavors, using only the freshest ingredients available. Our
multi-cuisine restaurant offers both Indian and International Cuisines.
Along with the restaurant, and the in-room dining in the privacy of the
suites, we also have special venues for exclusive dining. These range
from intimate spaces under the stars with a wide array of flowers or
candles flickering in mirrored walls, to the gentle sound of flowing
water or a view of the mountain peaks lit by the moon. Live Jal Tarang
and Flute recital in the background makes it an even more unforgettable
experience.
Featuring spectacular sunset views, the Bar at Devi Garh
is a fun, relaxed space integrating the colors and energy of Rajasthan.
We have a well stocked bar where an eclectic mix of drinks such as
spirits stirred with pomegranate juice or jasmine syrup are available
along side more familiar favorites. The Bar also features a special
taster menu to induce your taste buds. The authentic flavors of "chaat "
expose guests to a quintessential aspect Indian cuisine, street food,
prepared by Devi Garh's expert chefs.
The Devi Garh Palace resort, while retaining its
historical feel, attends to every amenity that a modern day traveller
may need.
We provide special facilities for conference and
banqueting needs that are ideal for seminars, meetings, and workshops.
The Conference Hall decorated in shades of silver and gray, seats 50 and
has up to date audio-visual equipment. For larger banquets, the elegant
Durbar Hall, in addition to other gardens and courtyards, are also
available as adaptable venues.

Janana Courtyard
This courtyard has a modern fountain juxtaposed against an ancient
swing. On a moonlit evening, black tabletops sprinkled flowers, and
candles add to the ambience - during winters, special bonfires are
lit for the guest's comfort. This venue, open to the sky with the
cool desert breeze blowing is ideal for 25 to 30 guests.

Restaurant Terrace
The best view of the setting sun can be enjoyed from this terrace.
Overlooking the Aravali mountains and the palace, it is an ideal
venue for breakfast, evening drinks, high tea, and dinner for
approximately 30-50 guests.

Garden Suite Lawns
This contemporary garden, with the palace as a backdrop, transforms
into an excellent dinner venue. The trees decorated with sparkling
lights for large gatherings mimic the night sky. This venue is ideal
for sit down dinner of 250 guests and a standing buffet of 350
guests.

Durbar Courtyard
This enclosed courtyard offers the starry sky, the distant sound of
water from the nearby fountains and privacy while being adjacent to
the bar and the Durbar Hall. This open venue is perfect for drinks
and is suitable for 25 to 30 people to dine.

Lounge Balcony
This venue is perfect for a couple or family to dine comfortably on
tables decorated with fresh flowers, and a menu that can be
tailor-made to your choice - gazing upon Delwara village with
candles illuminating the marble pillars and reflecting off the
mirrored ceiling. This setting will create a romantic and memorable
evening. The space is ideal for 6 guests.

LOUNGE
An air-conditioned room where the silver covered furniture, tables
elaborately decorated with flowers and the mirror worked walls
reflecting the candlelit warmth throughout the hall creates a
uniquely warm atmosphere that small groups can enjoy comfort. This
space is ideal for 15 to 20 guests.

Ram Room
Once this small and intimate space served as the meditation room of
Devi Garh's ancestral family - the original calligraphy on the walls
is intact, offering a bridge into the past while presenting guests
with an atmosphere of sophisticated modern elegance. This magical
space is ideal for 4 guests.

Sheesh Mahal
This is the most magical venue. Traces of History in the form of
faded frescoes, mirror work and broken chinese ceramic decoration
lend charm to it. Traditional low Indian seating and rows of candles
transform this into a perfect venue for a very special occasion.

Roof Top
Open to the moonlit sky is the enclosed verandah with a private
Jharokha rendering maximum privacy and making this an unforgettable
location to dine. This venue is ideal for 15 guests.
SPA & Leisure
Devi Garh, away from the stress of the city, is a perfect
place to optimize your well-being. Soothe your body, stimulate your
mind, and strengthen your spirit. Our new association with the renowned
French beauty brand will introduce 'Devi Spa by L'Occitane' at Devi Garh
and the other group hotels. The Spas will present a fusion of Indian and
Mediterranean well -being treatments offered in an eco-friendly setting.
Local ingredients combined with natural L'Occitane products will create
exclusive treatments that have been specially designed for Devi Resorts.
L'Occitane signature treatments, Immortelle Secret of Youth Facial and
Aromachologie Relaxing Massage will also be offered amongst others.
The scenic beauty of the surrounding Aravali hills can be
enjoyed on a trek, bicycle ride, camel or horse safari. For those who
wish to set out early, we provide a packed breakfast.
A trip to the village of Delwara and the nearby 14th
century Jain temples, or to the picturesque city of Udaipur with its
lakes and palaces can be arranged. Besides shopping in the bazaars of
Udaipur you can find some exclusively designed Indian products at the
Devi Shop.

star gazing, the clear evening sky provides a breathtaking view that you
can explore through the telescope. A well stocked library awaits those
who enjoy movies or a quiet read.
Accommodations
All of the 39 suites at Devi Garh are unique; luxurious
and beautiful, yet equipped with the most modern facilities to make a
guest feel utterly at home. The premium suite, called Devi Garh Suite,
has a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, of its own. Each suite is embellished
with marble and semi-precious stones, while the public spaces are
designed around different metals.

Garden Suite -
The Garden Suites at Devi Garh each have their own
private lobby, garden and tented terrace, and overlook a vivid
rectangular field of flowers.
In each of the suites, the decor (based on local green
marble) brings the serenity and beauty of the garden inside. A
carved marble tree of life surmounts the headboard of the bed,
adding to the effect of a garden within the room.

Palace Suite -
The Palace Suites are each individually designed gems -
literally, for their decor uses semi-precious stone inlay. Marble
combined with semi-precious stones, such as malachite, mother of
pearl, jasper and lapis lazuli, lends an aura of luxury and quiet
elegance to the rooms. The patterns of the furniture are reflected
and replicated in the white terrazzo forming the floor.
All the Palace Suites have either balconies or bay
windows, which overlook the lush green fields and the mountains
which surround Devi Garh. Each suite is accessible through a
traditional "aangan" (courtyard) with contemporary design.
In every suite, the furniture and the upholstery have
been especially selected with a view towards beauty and
functionality. Pristine white marble forms an effective base to
offset the rich and elegant colors of Rajasthan, with local skills
being used in a modern manner.

Aravali Suite -
The Aravali Suites are the most spacious, bright and
tastefully designed suites at Devi Garh.
They offer complete privacy and have a spectacular view of the Aravali
hills, which can be enjoyed from balconies or large bay windows.
One of the Aravali Suite is a duplex spread over two
levels; a loft-like space accommodates the bedroom and bathroom
above, while the lower houses the dining and sitting areas.
The design of this particular suite is based on the
traditional Indian motif often considered the most beautiful in
Indian art . that of the lotus, or kamal. The likeness is repeated
in the paintings in the room, as well as in the floor patterns
throughout the suite. Furthermore, the suite overlooks the
spectacular black marble courtyard that represents the image of a
lotus in bloom as a modern water fountain.

Devi Garh Suite -
The Devi Garh suite and the Palace suite, which
together form The Devi Garh Complex, share a common black marble
swimming pool. The two bedrooms are available together or
individually. The larger, Devi Garh suite has its own private sun
deck and Jacuzzi.
The Devi Garh Suite Complex explores the concept of
‘Shiv’ and ‘Shakti’ – the male and female energies, embodied in
Shiva, the Hindu God of destruction in conjunction with Shakti, his
consort, who personifies the divine power of femininity.
An integral part of the concept is the image of the
bull Nandi, the ‘vahana’ (vehicle) of Shiv and also a devotee of the
God.
