Beach House is set in coconut groves next to a small freshwater lagoon, 2
minutes walk from Thottada beach which you can see from the rooms.
The house is a traditional Kerala home and is a
century old. The owners live there and are your hosts. You dine with them and
they share not only their home but their culture, heritage, and the environment

The house is so close to the beach that you can
hear the sound of the waves all night long. The beach right near the house (Thottada
Beach) is not crowded at all and it is very peaceful. I watched the most amazing
sunsets. The Beach House also has a small boat that you can ride in to see the
backwater area. "
One can not go to the beach house if one is
looking for a touristy place. The hosts are wonderful and are so knowledgeable
on local cuisine, history, politics, etc. It is a wonderful place to relax and
unwind."

jedoch das Beachhouse bei Kannur, super freundliche Familie .., grossartiges
Essen (viel Obst und Fisch) und Strandblick. Man ist in einer Minute im Wasser
und kann oft einen menschenleeren Strand geniessen.

By Rail -
- Kannur railway station - 7 kms
- Talacherry railway station- 15 Km
Kannur is between Kozhikde and Mangalore on the
way from Kochi (Ernakulam) to Goa. The train journey from Mumbai to Kannur is
very pleasant as the same passes through the coastal area of KONKAN.
