Comments
-
Interiors :
Cabins, restaurants and bar well
decorated and furnished. Belur and Halebid temples theme in the
restaurants and bar was good. Double bedded cabins have very
little space. Twin bedded cabins are reasonably spacious.
-
Food & Beverages :
Continental cuisine was good but
South Indian breakfasts were not upto the mark. Bar was
reasonably well stocked.
-
Staff :
Restaurant, bar and cabin staff friendly and eager to help,
though a few need more experience, especially in the
restaurants.
-
Housekeeping :
- Transport :
Reasonably
good but engine was a bit loud in the Karnataka bus
Escort Cum Guide :
Covered sightseeing of Bangalore and Mysore, was friendly and
efficient, even entertained us in the evening with his guitar.
Local Guides : In Hassan,
Hampi and Badami were knowledgeable, though English was not
perfect.
Itinerary : Was perfect
as it covered all the highlights of South and North Karnataka from
the comfort of a luxury train.
