Terra's tented campsite is designed especially for you and your family to enjoy nature at its pristine best. Terra gives you the most amazing outdoor experience, with a range of activities conducted to a planned itinerary by our team of experts. Terra @ Panchgani, the first of many campsites to come, is now open. It’s a 5 acre campsite with 10 tents situated just 20km from Blue Country, a Club Mahindra managed resort. Enjoy the unique and unforgettable experience of the great outdoor.

 

Activities

Terra campsite offers a lot of activities which can be classified into hard adventure and soft adventure activities.

  • Land Zorbing

    • It consists of an inflatable ball in which two participants are strapped to a harness.

    • The ball is then pushed down a ramp and it rolls down gathering speed.

    • The ball rolls to and fro on the ramp for a few minutes till it stops.

    • It is then rolled down to a far end of the ramp and pushed again

  • Zip Lining

    • Consists of a pulley suspended on a cable / rope mounted on an incline.

    • The user is propelled by gravity to go from top to bottom.

    • Also known as flying fox

  • Rapelling - Also known as Abseiling. It is a controlled descend down a rock face / wall using a safety rope.

  • Wall Climbing

    • Artificially constructed wall with grips for hands and legs. Used for climbing.

    • The safety procedures followed are same as for actual rock climbing.

    • Degree of difficulty can be altered by changing the position of holds.

    • Consists of two faces – an easy face and a difficult face

  • Mountain Biking

    • Consists of riding bicycles off road, over rough terrain.

    • The bikes are specially adapted mountain bikes of sturdy material and have gears to make uphill / downhill biking easier

  • Guided Nature Walk

    • Trekking on a pre designated and sign posted route with an audio visual device
      (Ipod).

    • The device consists of guidance and directions to be taken on the trail and also information about the flora on the way

  • Other Activities
