By Road: The sanctuary is positioned almost 19 kilometers from Sakoli on NH-6 (Mumbai-Kolkata). Nearest bus stand from the sanctuary is at Sakoli and Tirora.

By Rail: Tirora Railway Station (19 kilometers) is the nearest railhead from the sanctuary.

By Air: Nagpur Airport (139 kilometers) is the nearest airport from Nagzira.

 

Location:

The total area of this park is approx. 152.81 square kilometers. The sanctuary is located in the Bhandara and Gondia District of Maharashtra. Geographically, the region of this sanctuary falls under the Nagpur Circle of State Forest Department. The management and administration of this sanctuary is under the control of Chief Conservator of Forest (Wildlife), Nagpur. The comprehensive area of this beautiful sanctuary comes under Nagzira Range.

Kachargarh Caves,: Beautiful experience of these caves which supposedly show signs of human occupation since 25000 years. Massive cavern in the big cave ... Seats 2000 people during the major festival. Tough climb up and down, and not for the fainthearted or those with physical issues. Unique experience. Road available almost to the base. The destination after the toughish climb( for amateurs) doesn't disappoint.

 

Itiadoh Dam : tiadoh Dam, is an earthfill and gravity dam on Gadvi river near Arjuni Morgaon, Gondia district in state of Maharashtra in 

 

Ghosikhurd Dam:Gose Khurd Dam, is an earthfill dam on the Wainganga River near Pauni in Bhandara district in state of Maharashtra in India. The dam consists of 33 Nos of spillway gates to regulate irrigation water into the river throughout the year

Hajra Waterfall:Hazara Falls is 191 km from Nagpur, 33 km from Darekasa and close to the Gondia district. Hazara Falls, in Salekasa tehsil is a major tourist attraction during the rainy season. August to December is best time to go. It is located 1 km from Darekasa railway station.

Mohagaon - Tusser Silk Project.Kala Swaraj Foundation has set up a project to revive handloom weaving in the Sausar, Lodhikheda, and Mohgaon villages of Chhindwara. Central Province region once had the largest population of handloom weavers anywhere in the sub-continent. It is estimated that more than 160,000 weavers were active in the late 1800s. Unfortunately, much of the region’s traditional artisanal culture was lost after machine weaving was introduced during British rule.
