A Home for Nature Lovers - Jambughoda - Gujarat
Life today demands an escape from the routine, and what better way to spend a couple of days at a destination that will allow you to leave your city life behind and be with nature. To simply enjoy. To rejuvenate. A brief get-away prepares you to be back to your city life with renewed vigour. Irrespective of whether you are a corporate head honcho, businessman, painter or a writer.
Travel back more than a century, in 100 acres of sheer hypnotic greenery. That is when the Jambughoda Palace (now partly converted into A Home for Nature Lovers) was built.
A Home for Nature Lovers has 20 non-airconditioned and air conditioned suites and rooms. Rooms and bathrooms are simple, yet dignified in their décor. Adequate care is taken to keep them spic and span. Fruits and vegetables are grown organically on the farm. Indian and continental food is served at a common eating area in an informal and homely ambience. In the winter months, if desired, dinners are organized around camp fires.
Guests may access the following facilities:
Pick-up and airport transfer on request
Durbar Hall (Conference Hall)
Indian and continental cuisine
Escort for sightseeing
Doctor on call
Space for International Art Residency Programmes
HH Maharana Vikramsinhji resides at the Palace with his family. The Jambughoda Royal Family are descendents of the Parmar Dynasty from Dhar in Madhya Pradesh. Their ancestors ruled the state till its merger with the Indian Union in 1948 for the greater good of its people and India.
A Home for Nature Lovers is a family run venture. It does not have liveried waiters, but personalised service and attention to details are in-built -- making the welcome warm and the stay memorable. The hosts are the very epitome of grace, civility, courtesy, hospitality and charm. Guests keep coming back to A Home for Nature Lovers for this reason.
