Cottages

Diphlu River Lodge offers accommodation for 24 guests at a time, ensuring an exclusive and serene experience.

There are 8 individual cottages and 4 semi-detached cottages.

The raised cottages are made of natural materials like bamboo and wood, topped with thatched roofs to blend in with the forest surroundings.

Cottage amenities

All cottages sleep 2 and are air-conditioned for comfort.

Each cottage houses:

well-sized cosy beds

a spacious seating area

a writing desk

a mini-bar

a small fridge

an electric kettle

a complimentary selection of tea and coffee.

All shower bathrooms are en-suite with a roomy dressing area and a fitted wardrobe containing a safe.

Special care has been taken to make full use of local materials and artefacts.

Each individual cottage has a wide folding glass door opening onto a verandah with inviting cane chairs

Safaris

Guests have the opportunity to go on two safaris in a day: one in the morning and one in the afternoon. All safaris are included in the cost of your stay at Diphlu River Lodge.

 

Jeep safaris

We use open, windowless vehicles with front-facing seats for jeep safaris into the park.

Our in-house naturalist will accompany you on all safaris.

As per official government rules, jeep safaris are only allowed in the mornings and afternoons on fixed routes advised by the Forest Department
