We are located on 100 acres in the Palni hills, Tamil Nadu, an area of the Western Ghats in South India known to be one of 25 most important Biodiversity hotspots on the planet. Kodaikanal, the well-known hill-station is just 20 kms away.

Elephant Valley is located on an old elephant migration route next to the border of the national forest which extends into the wildlife sanctuaries of Kerala.

We share the land and rivers with the local people and as always promote an eco-friendly way of life.

Elephant Valley offers twenty uniquely designed bungalows and the Valley restaurant serves gourmet cuisine using our organically farmed vegetables.

Accommodations

Our bungalows have been tastefully and artistically created using local products– locally sourced granite, reclaimed doors, windows, pillars and wood from Tamil Nadu and Kerala. We have used tasteful antique colonial and art deco furniture to decorate each bungalow in a unique way. Each cottage has its own private garden overlooking the Gangavaar River and our coffee plantation.

This building is an old estate worker line from the coffee plantation, renovated with taste, it offers 3 medium size roomand and a mezzanine floor for the kids with 3 attached bathroom with a shower .

It’s the most remote house of Elephant Valley, in the middle of the coffee plantation yet 5mn walk from the restaurant. You need to cross the river using or suspended rope and wood bridge.
