Khem Villas - Ranthambhore / RajasthanKhem Villas is established on land we purchased in 1989. We planted indigenous trees and created small water bodies and have since converted this vast, open grassland into a natural habitat. Today, it is not uncommon to see jackals, jungle cats, hyenas, desert fox, and crocodiles, within the grasslands and around your luxury campstead. It has also become a bird watcher's paradise.

ACCOMMODATION Like all things at Khem Villas, even the accommodation here is environmentally sensitive and sound. Great pains have been taken to use locally sourced materials and skills.
It has my personal touch and sensibility of being unfussy and focussed on the nature around us. At Khem Villas you will always be mindful of the vast jungle and the magic of nature all around us. Each room has been designed keeping in mind that simplicity is the ultimate sophistication.
Villas Two large elevated Villas overlook the Ranthambhore escarpment looking over open grassland and forest giving you an uninterrupted view of the Ranthambhore hills unlike any other. The Villas have a large private sun deck with one Villa having an open to sky Bath tub and the other having an indoor bath connected to a private open to sky courtyard. These are our most luxurious accommodation offering the best views and privacy.
COTTAGES Your cottages are part of a private compound of 1600 sq.ft. The area includes a spacious and comfortable bedroom, a bath with an open to sky outdoor shower and a large, old fashioned tub. A private courtyard and veranda look over to the Tiger reserve beyond and runs down to the lake within the premises of Khem Villas.
Tents Each tent is erected on a wooden platform and supported by a steel frame. Spacious and comfortable, with minimalisic, modern appointments. The bathrooms are designed using natural materials like bamboo and wood to give a rustic charm without compromising on comfort and functionality.
Rooms The main building provides four bedrooms that are self contained and can be used as individual rooms or can provide the option for a small group to hire the entire portion as a private space to be enjoyed together. All the rooms are air-conditioned spacious with en suite bathrooms. The upstairs rooms have large bay windows from which you can enjoy view along with the multitude of sounds of nature.
