Located within the Norbulingka grounds, Norling Guesthouse is surrounded by lush gardens and flowing streams. We strive to offer our guests all the modern amenities in a setting of traditional Tibetan charm.
Room Details
Each room is themed by a Tibetan mythological animal. All the furniture and artwork in the rooms was handmade by Norbulingka craftsmen. Additionally, most of the linens were hand-woven by our weaving section using organic cotton.

Things to do Around Norbulingka
There are many things to do and see around Norbulingka. Enjoy a free guided tour of Norbulingka and relax in our gardens and temple. Dine with us at our cafe, which is open daily from 7am- 9:30pm. We offer a variety of all-vegetarian dishes; from Cheese Momos to Palak Paneer to Eggplant Pizza, you are sure to find something you like. Take a 2km walk to Karmapa's Monastery, or a half-hour taxi ride to McLeod Ganj. With advance notice, we can also arrange for Tibetan cooking, language, or meditation classes, or tours of the area.
