THE LODGE Located in the remote western reaches of Tadoba, there are no other lodges here, and one rarely sees other vehicles. This makes for an exceptional game viewing experiences with the feeling of the ultimate exclusivity. The lodge offers a true wilderness experience in its four diverse habitats, a magnificent tapestry of deciduous woodland, grassland, wetland and riparian forest, interspersed with surrounding western hill ranges, rivers, marshes and pans of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, the Tiger Trails Jungle Lodge blends into the natural beauty of its breath-taking surroundings. Guests can exclusively explore this area on a game drive or on foot, along with our resident naturalists, enjoying access to pristine outdoor dining locations. Rustic yet sophisticated, this camp has a warmth to it that make you feel at home and part of the family. All of our Waterhole Rooms, Wilderness Tents and Oriole Suites look out over the river frontage, Grasslands and Forests. Big day beds make this the perfect place to while away the afternoon. Intimate guest areas include open-fronted sitting and dining areas, as well as spacious decks are perfect for enjoying sundowners overlooking the surrounding forests and the camp’s rim-flow swimming pool provides a view of the seasonal many flycatchers around.
THE ORIOLE SUITE Set within this deciduous forest, and overlooking a vast grassy meadow, each of our suites ensure exclusivity and incredible wildlife sightings. The air-conditioned suites each feature a beautiful, plantation-style bedroom, with a luxuriously spacious ensuite bathroom and dressing room that effortlessly blends a sense of old-world luxury with quirky, contemporary features. A dense canopy provides privacy, and floor to ceiling windows invite the forest in, with the wonderful opportunity to view wildlife roaming outside your glass “bubble”, fluttering birds nesting in the foliage and the gentle rustle of forest sounds.
WILDERNESS TENTS The lodge has four stylish tents spread out under a canopy of Teak, Ain and Mahua trees. Located along the dramatic river banks of the Tadoba River that pours in from the Vasant Bandhara hills, the TigerTrails Jungle Lodge’s proximity to water draw a profusion of game looking for water as well as grazing habitats and a bask of resident Crocodiles can be seen in the river pools, right in from your tents. Views, views and more views: the guest areas are all carefully positioned to maximize the expansive views across the grasslands to the distant silhouettes of river tree lines. The elevated tent extends onto a shady veranda which in turn leads onto an open-air firepit where candlelit dinners are served beneath the stars.
THE WATERHOLE VIEW FAMILY SUITES Located on the edge of the forest, just before a clearing that overlooks a small waterhole, lies the lodge’s Waterhole Rooms. This spacious Family suite with inter-leading rooms, exudes a romantic ambiance with nostalgic safari memorabilia throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glass windows make the most of sunny safari days and a private veranda offers the perfect look out onto panoramic views of an open grassy meadows as well as views of visiting wildlife on the adjoining waterholes. The charming suites cluster around a popular waterhole where a diversity of wildlife is regularly seen and birdlife flourishes. Each suite boasts a luxurious ensuite bathroom, complete with a separate bath chamber, showers and twin hand basins.
