La Villa Shanti

Hidden behind a discrete facade, this big 19th century house located in the old French town (white town) has expanded a new wing built in contemporary style and comprises of fifteen well decorated and spacious rooms, a restaurant and a cafe bar. 

The use of traditional material in a modern language, the harmony of proportion and simplicity confers a unique and innovative character to this hotel and provides a modern interpretation of colonial architecture. 

This mixture of styles as well as the use of popular handiwork are involved in the joint efforts of the Architects and Promoters, who in their own capacity have vast knowledge in the Service Industry, to shake the conventions, to arouse curiosity and to create an alchemy between the elements while maintaining a great artistic sensibility.

The cafe bar

The cafe bar is situated opposite the patio and the vertical garden, offers snacks from the Indian streets and sandwiches. 

You can also choose to have your meal, drink a cocktail made from fresh fruit juices, listen to music, or simply read a book from our library.

Welcomes you to the themes of the meeting, discovery, pleasure and taste, reminding us that the kitchen is also an essential element in one trip.

Simple, fresh, natural.    

The restaurant is divided into two areas, one open on the patio and the vertical garden, air conditioned and the other located in the old building.

We chose to focus on quality, freshness and seasonal products.

We try to find them in small local suppliers, favoring those who respect organic farming.

We serve cuisine from India and elsewhere composed of vegetarian or not, but also a suggestion of the day for extra freshness.

are built around an inner courtyard with a vertical garden and all have natural light.

Located in the new wing, they fit perfectly into the building's architecture, mid colonial mid modern.

We have four categories of rooms :
