Srirangapatna : The history of this town dates back to the 9th century, when it was founded by the rulers of the Ganga dynasty. However, the destination came into the limelight during the reign of the Vijayanagara Empire. The rise of the Wodeyar kings marked the downfall of the Vijayanagara Empire.
Somnathpur : is a tiny village which is situated in close to the Karnataka-Kerala border. The hamlet is located on the banks of river Cauvery and is named after its founder Somnath the chief commander of the Hoysala army.
Somnathpur is a town where one can interact with nature and is an ideal picnic spot with family. The temple of Somnathpur is a typical example for Hoysala architecture. The stone carving which is inside the temple is an awesome example of stone carving.
Belur: Belur(222 kms from Bangalore and 38 kms from Hassan) originally the capital of the Hoysala kings. The main attaraction of the place is the Keshava Temple built by Vishnuvardhana. It is the only Hoysala temple still in active worship. First they build this temple prototype & it took 20 years to complete. The same prototype was made it in bigger size with all the sculptures & it took 103 years complete.
Halebid: This place is 15km from Belur, know as Dwarasamudra. It was once the seat of Hoysala Empire. Halebid having two temple under the single platform. So its called Double temple also. Hoysaleshwara and Shanteswara both dedicated to Shiva. Shiva is the main god for this temple. Generally hoysala architecture not followed Square shape, they are using Star shape.
Shravanabelagola: Shravanabelagola is a holy place for Jains. A jain centre famous for monolith statue of Gomateshwara, 17 meters height, carved out of a single stone, Know as Bahubali. Its world tallest monolith statue. The town is located in the midst of two hills. There is a tank in the midst of this town called “Belagola” and the town is called by the same name.

Day 01:Bangalore - Mysore
*Morning Pick up from Bangalore Airport /Railway Station /Hotel and proceed to Mysore. En route visit Srirangapatna(Dariya Daulat Bagh, Gumbaz, Fort and Temple). On arrival check in to hotel. After fresh 'n' up proceed to visit Maharaja's Palace and Brindavan garden. Overnight stay at Mysore Hotel.
Day02: Mysore - Hassan (Aprox 118kms/02hrs Drive)
Morning Visit Somnathpur later Drive to Hassan & drive to Hassan, enroute visit Shravanabelagola – A Prominent Jain pilgrim centre in Hassan district. Shravanabelagola is home to Asia’s largest monolithic statue-lord Gomateshwara here towers 58ft. later proceed to Hassan on arrival check in to hotel, lunch and relax and overnight.
Day 03: Hassan
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing Visit Belur – On the banks of the Yagachi River is Belur, a star shaped temple with hand lathe – turned filigreed pillars and sculptures will take your breath away. It is the only Hoysala temple still in active worship and Halebid - Just 17km away from Belur, the ancient capital of the Hoysalas. The temple, perched on a star shaped base amidst lawns, is a sculptural extravaganza. Return to hotel and overnight at Hassan.
Day 04: Hassan / Bangalore (187Kms / 04Hrs)
After breakfast, check out and proceed Mysore. Tour ends.
