If you are ready to defy all odds, you could try the Meesapuliamala peak. At 2500 m, this is arguably the second highest peak on the Western Ghats. . The trek starts from the foothills, and you can look forward to an exhilarating walk for the next 7-8 hours. The rewards for all that sweat and increased heartbeat: rhododendron trees bursting with red, long trails of scented pine forests, and sprawling grasslands all along the way. The view from the top is not easily forgotten; you can see the lofty peaks of Anamudi hills, the Kodaikanal range and the Yelapatty village from here.
