On a houseboat ride from Alappuzha aboard a traditional kettuvallam, get a feel for local life in this rural region of India. The non-air-conditioned rice boat glides across the backwaters of Alappuzha, providing a glimpse of daily activities like fishing, prawn farming, and more.

Pick up from Cochin Hotel, drive to Alleppey & drop at Jetty by 12 Noon, where you'll board your Non AC Deluxe Houseboat for Alleppey Round, Cruise slowly through the backwaters. Enjoy a welcome drink on this as the 4 hour cruise begins along Punnamada Lake, home to Nehru Trophy Boat Race,admire views of Vembanad Lake and observe a bit of village life as you travel past the banks. After about 30 minutes, the boat stops for a lavish lunch of traditional Kerala cuisine, Continue cruising through the village areas to marvel at the lush vegetation, paddy fields, coconut palms, and more. Later enjoy coffee or tea with Kerala-style snacks before your cruise ends in the early evening by 4:00 PM & Drop at Jetty.
