Pick up is after breakfast when we will transport you to Deep in the tea country, in amongst the rolling hills and the sharp peaks lies Thalayar Tea Estate. One of the only estate that was privately owned when Tata Tea ruled over vast estates in Munnar, the tea produced from the Talayar tea factory was still the most sought after by the local community. A day time for you to live in beautiful bungalows with amazing views of the estates, manicured lawns and well kept gardens and a barrage of staff to look after the bungalows and its masters.

The Bungalow, built in 1924 originally by the British planters and later modified by later owners, is a lovely bungalow located on a hillock with excellent views of the mountain behind and the valley below. With an aim to restore the bungalows and keep the staff, the Thalayar Bungalow has opened its doors for people who want to experience the lifestyle and the way of life on a working tea estate. And what better way than experience it in style!

Another unique offer Tea Trails is a visit to their own tea factory and see firsthand how tea is processed. Should you be interested you could join the 'Make your tea' programme where you start with picking the leaves from the estates with the pickers and processing it yourself in their miniature factory. You then get your own personal bag of tea at the end of the day!

With you personal butler to look after you’re every whim the Thalayar Valley Bungalow is the ideal place to unwind in the lap of luxury. Sip a sun downer watching the sun set over the Western Ghats.....relax and enjoy being in this little paradise!
